 TESTIMONIALS:

"I personally am no stranger to cold exposure therapy both in my professional and personal life. However, cryotherapy at these temperatures take things to another beneficial level. This was my first cryotherapy session and I can say with complete confidence , it exceeded my expectations. The level of professionalism, relaxed atmosphere, and of course the results, were beyond what I anticipated. I feel it is important to leave out my experience inside the cryotherapy chamber because I believe this is to be an intensely personal experience  and you should have no preconceived notions about. In the minutes, hours, and days following my session I experienced enhanced mental clarity, marked improvements in my strength, energy and recovery during training sessions, immediate improvement in sore joints, as well as a noticeable increase in my stress resiliency. As a person who has struggled with anxiety, chronic pain and periods of low energy, cold exposure has completely altered how I view the recovery from these conditions. For those eligible, I cannot encourage you enough to both research the potential health benefits and try cryotherapy for yourself. I also want to stress what a privilege it is for such a dynamic therapy to be offered in a relatively small community. We are in desparate need of a progressive minded shift in how we view personal health and wellness. Paul and Lori Eade have proven time and time again to be leaders in the solutions towards a healthier and happier community. I would like to thank them for their service, empathy and determination to be on the cutting edge of health and performance.

"I just wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts on the new Cryotherapy offered at Eade's Fitness. I've completed six sessions and immediately after the first session I noticed an increase range of motion and flexibility in my workouts. Due to strenuous training for the better part of 35 years I have suffered a host of "over use"and muscle injuries that have required surgeries and a reliance on anti inflammatory medication to continue the life style I enjoy. With the introduction of Cryotherapy I rely less on anti -inflammatory's and have noticed substantial improvements in flexibility, recovery and range of motion. All of these factors have allowed my training sessions to be more rigorous than before. Another notable benefit is less recovery time between training sessions. In the past, two training sessions in one day would have been impossible due to joint inflammation and muscle soreness. Cryotherapy allows me to train as I want to and not be held up by limitations I have had in the past. Thanks again Eade's for the innovation.

Cryotherapy Success Stories

Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) is exposure to subzero temperatures. Extreme cold stimulates skin sensors, activating a Central Nervous System (CNS) response. This causes the release of endorphins, the body’s natural pain inhibitors and mood elevators, while the enhanced circulation activity (blood movement into and out of the core) decreases inflammation by clearing toxins and metabolic waste with a supply of oxygen and nutrient enriched blood to stimulate cellular regeneration (faster healing). Treatments have been adopted by elite athletes and pro teams for muscle and injury recovery. WBC is becoming nationally well documented as being used for the daily management of pain, inflammation, energy, and stress related conditions. The Cryoscience Arctic unit at Eade Fitness 24/7 is the most complete model for safe, effective, and affordable treatments available to the public.
"The treatment is designed to be done in a walk in, single person room, the room also contain a window that can be fully closed or partially open".

"Your head, neck and chest contain the majority of the body's thermoreceptors".

"As opposed to cryotheraphy booths using a nitrogen atmosphere around the body with your head above the booth, our system uses nitrogen to cool fresh ambient air which will surround the whole body".
Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) uses Nitrogen gas to create intense cold, which instantly reduces or eliminates pain and inflammation, while increasing athletic performance and recovery. WBC stimulates the nervous system through the rapid cooling of the skin receptors, which causes peripheral vasoconstriction and induces adaptive changes that produce a dramatic reduction in pain and inflammation and increased recovery and healing rates.

HISTORY OF WBC
The word Cryotherapy comes from the Greek words “Kryos” which means Cold and “Therapeia” meaning Cure. The modern practice of Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) was developed in 1978 by Dr. Toshiro Yamauchi, who treated patients for pain and inflammation associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) in Japan. He concluded that rapid short-term freezing of the skin’s surface led to immediate release of endorphins and is more effective than gradual cooling in an ice bath. Further research conducted over the last two decades in Europe has established WBC as a powerful treatment for inflammatory disorders, chronic pain, acute injuries, weight loss, and to improve healing rates. Whole Body Cryotherapy is also used to improve athletic performance and recovery times from workouts and surgery, to reclaim youth and treat a variety of chronic physical conditions including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Tendonitis, Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, Psoriasis, Autoimmune Disorders, Anxiety and Depression and Cellulite.
The effect of whole body cryotherapy depends on the degree to which skin surface temperature is lowered. Chronic inflammatory joint diseases, chronic pain and fibromyalgia in particular require the skin surface temperature to be lowered to below 5 degrees Celsius (41 F). Within an endurable exposure time of three minutes, this temperature can be reached without any problem in a cryotherapy chamber (like the ARTIC by CryoScience) within which a constant treatment of -110 Celsius is ensured.
